I love the hunters for all their grace and finesse in the ring but this course seems to have thrown everyone for a loop. It rides more like a medal course and is clearly pushing the boundaries of what our hunter riders are comfortable with, which I believe will only lead to better riding and is exciting to watch. Great job USHJA for helping our sport grow!

While I am very happy to have been able to view the derby finals after the fact, was very disappointed with the "live" coverage. Had invited a bunch of people over to my house for a "live" viewing party which never happened... we tried and tried for at least an hour and finally gave up.

EL Thank you so much for the footage from Finals! I have been totally obsessed w/ Derby's since they've made a comeback. Having competed in a few this past summer getting to watch these riders is very educational for future events. And in answer to Lynn Lipford: Shadbellys are generally worn in classic hunter classes. From ponies to the derbys we all wear them including white breeches. It's not a new thing but is generally only seen at the rated shows.

First, a big "thank you" for providing live online coverage of the entire derby. I was frustrated, however, in the fact the I was unable to watch the event live as I was one of many unable to log into the event due to its popularity and servers that were evidently unable to keep up with the demand. I appreciated the commentary, however, I agree that the rider introductions were a bit intrusive. More background info on the horses would be interesting.
