About Us The IDCTA serves the interest of the equestrian community in Illinois and provides programs for dressage and event riders in our area in the following ways: * RECRUIT - We invite participation in the IDCTA to create a broader base of involvement by dressage and event riders. * INFORM - Our members make contributions to the monthly IDCTA Newsletter, The Scribe, on a regular basis. * DEVELOP - We encourage awareness of and attention to non-equestrian aspects of our sport such as land usage, cross-country course construction, availability of training facilities for clinics and volunteer work. * EDUCATE - We organize seminars and clinics with top professionals and sponsor schooling shows and local competitions while promoting safety and sportsmanship at all times. * RECOGNIZE - We recognize both member achievements and volunteer participation throughout the year.
