Highland Farm

Marc Grock the owner and trainer of Highland Farms. He is originally from Las Vegas, NV, and commuted to California during his Junior career riding with different trainers including Mousie Williams and Debbie and Bob McDonald. Once an Amateur, he showed in the A/O Hunter and Jumper divisions with Richard Keller, Joie Gaitlin, and Hap Hansen. He had multiple Horse of the Year Honors in both the Hunter Ring with Aloha and Deluxe, and in the Jumper Ring with El Paso, Grand Finale and Heat Wave. He headed east to ride with Ronnie Beard and had more success showing on the eastern seaboard from Lake Placid to Florida, winning in the High A/O Jumpers and in the Grand Prix ring. He took a break from horses to work in his family's construction business, and then manage his own successful company that was diversified in gaming, coffee houses and brew pubs. Lured back to into horses by visits to San Diego, he ended up relocating, becoming a professional and eventually starting Highland Farms in 2006. Marc offers a full training and sales consignment program. He has a wide network of contacts, a very strong work ethic and great riding skills. He has also had a lot of success and experience importing horses from Europe, Canada, and South America. He has coached his clients to numerous division championships at the rated horse shows. Marc is currently accepting horses and clients in training.
