Equine Veterinary Associates

Equine Veterinary Associates was founded in 1982 as an ambulatory/farm call practice serving Montgomery and north Harris counties. As the practice grew, it was evident that a central location from which to operate was needed. The current hospital/surgical facility was built in 1985- the site chosen in the geographic center of the practice area. Since 1982, EVA has consistently provided quality veterinary service to the local community and beyond. At EVA we have your horses’ health care needs as our top concern. Preventative medicine is a cornerstone of our practice. This includes immunization programs, parasite control, nutritional consultation, and dentistry. In addition, our doctors attend regular continuing education programs to stay abreast of new techniques in treating lameness, colic, respiratory disease, and other conditions. State of the art diagnostic equipment such as digital radiology is available for our patients’ needs. We provide a 24 hour emergency service for our clients and maintain a close working relationship with the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M for consultation and referrals.
