Clair has been riding and showing since she was five years old. As a young pony rider, she rode with Larry and Trudy Glefke and later Christina Schlushmeyer. In 1996 and 1997, she was a working student with Don Stewart , where a few of her accomplishements included: Many champions and reserves in Small and Large Junior hunters. In 1996 she was 5th at the AHSA Medal finals. Champion large junior at Capital Challenge. 1997 She was 2nd Hunter phase Washington International Horseshow. Reserve champion Capital Challenge Horseshow small junior hunter. 1997 Reserve World Champion Hunter Rider. Sixth Maclay regionals. 1st Maclay at Devon, 2nd AHSA at Devon, Pa. First Cincinati Equitation Classic. Clair worked for Georganne Powers at Foxwood Farm, where some of her accomplishements included: 2001 Florida State Regular Working Hunter Champion. Reserve champion first year green. Reserve champion 1st year green conformation, Biltmore Classic. In June of 2002 Clair left to establish Kingsmeade Farm and some of her accomplishement since that time are: 2002 Champion Second Year Green, Biltmore Classic. 2003 Champion 3&4year old hunter, Winter Equestrian Festival. Champion 2nd year green, Biltmore classic. 2004 Champion 3' pregreen, HITS Ocala. Champion 3'3" pregreen HITS Ocala. Champion 3&4 year old hunter Winter Equestrian Festival (won all over fences classes). Fifth $25,000 Hunter Classic Atlanta. Champion pregreen in many local "A" shows.
