Business Description:

The Eastern Pennsylvania Reining Horse Association ("EPRHA") is one of the oldest, and largest of the N.R.H.A. Affiliates. It was formed in 1986, and its membership has grown steadily since then. In 1999 membership hit an all-time high with approximately 250 active members. And we entered 2003 fast approaching the 300-member mark! Original members included such N.R.H.A. luminaries as Bob Anthony, Dick Pieper, Bob Loomis and our First President, Brian Dygert. The current roster also boasts N.R.H.A. World Champions, both past and present; NRHA approved judges; as well as countless members finishing up the year in the NRHA Top Ten. Based at picturesque Willow Brook Farms in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, the Affiliate hosts approximately 8 NRHA sanctioned reining events each season, in addition to clinics and jackpot reinings. EPRHA also hosts the Firecracker Classic. Perhaps best known as a breeding facility, Willow Brook Farms holds its own piece of reining history, as well. Owner Tom ("C.T.") Fuller is a member of the AQHA and NRHA Halls of Fame, as are two of his horses, Joe Cody and High Proof. Some of the top NRHA Trainers whose names are a part of Willow Brook's history include Bob Loomis, Bob Anthony, Mario Boisjoli and Josette Conti. Located amidst the rolling hills and lush pastures of the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, the farm was the location for many years of the Joe Cody Classic, one of the NRHA's premier events and usually the first stop for talented three year olds on the futurity circuit. The farm has been featured in the NRHA Reiner, as well as the Quarter Horse Journal and other equine publications. Today, the farm hosts NRHA sanctioned reining events, team roping, team penning, NBRA barrel racing events, as well as clinics taught by such luminaries as Buck Brannaman, Ray Hunt, Joe Woelter and Todd Crawford.
