Business Description:

Author of 'Hear All Creatures" available on Amazon Most of my clients will admit that at some time or another they have understood what their animals want or need...and vice versa, their animal's seem to understand them. Something beyond the spoken word. Horses tell me that we send them 'TOO MANY MESSAGES' often confusing them. We think one thing then cue them for something else. Horses in particular are extremely sensitive creatures, a 1200 lb horse can feel a mosquito landing on its' flank, so just imagine how they feel when we plop our 100++ lb bodies on their backs and then start shifting our weight around and sending them confusing messages. When we ride we think about what's for dinner or what we need to do when we get home, we are very rarely in the moment with our horses. We also think of exactly what we don't want them to do...such as, "Every time we go around the arena he will stop at the gate" Then sure enough your horse stops at the gate...every time! Think in positives with your horse, think of what you want them to do. Imagine the completed task, jump or routine, how does that look to you? Picture it...your horse will pick up on your mental images and know very clearly what you want. Think in simple, clear thoughts. Keep them positive. Show your horse in your mind what you want him to do. Praise them and let them know that you believe in them and they can do it. Watch your body language when you are with your horse. Are you sending confusing signals? If you are thinking your horse will run away from you every time you grab the halter and lead rope, then chances are he will run away from you. Horses read body language and energy. Make sure you are clear in all your messages. Author of 'Hear All Creatures" published by New River Press. The animals are Karen's teachers and she has learned more from them than any other human. Helping humans through their grief when it comes time to say goodbye to a a dear and devoted friend.
