Cypress Farms

Dr. Albert Pugh and his wife Gayle Pugh are the owners and operators of Cypress Farms. Gayle has been an avid rider for the past 20+ years. She has trained under top USDF and international instructors and operated dressage barns in Deridder, La and Orange, TX. She is now training a Holsteiner Mare to start competing again in 2007. Cypress Farms was established in 1999 in Orange, TX to provide a place to learn dressage in Southeast Texas. There are now 2 barns with stabling for 28 horses. There is also a covered dressage arena, open jump field and open regulation dressage arena. Albert Over 8 years of riding experience and most recently placed 8th in the USDF Region 9 Championships at 1st Level, with Aire Bonnie. He also competed in the SWDC at 3rd level with his Thoroughbred gelding, Aly First. Gayle Gayle recently competed in the SWDC at 3rd level with her 17 yr old Trakener, Will. She is also training and will compete on a 10 yr old Holsteiner mare next year.
