Right Lead Equestrian Center

Right Lead Equestrian (RLEC) is located in St. Gabriel (Sunshine) near Baton Rouge Louisiana, and offers pasture board, horseback riding / ground lessons, clinics, horse training, leases, sales, horsemanship and training clinics, and transportation. RLEC specializes in Combined Training, Eventing, beginner Dressage, Sidesaddle, and training for Pony Club events. We are a training facility and do not offer "pony rides" or lease horses by the hour/day. Please email Michelle if you would like more information. STAFF Michelle Bergeron (owner/manager) has over thirty years experience with horses, and is actively showing today. Michelle has a wonderful coaching disposition and continually challenges riders of all ages and skill levels. Click on "About RLEC" to the left to learn more. FACILITIES RLEC is situated on 15 acres in St. Gabriel, Louisiana. The property is fenced and cross fenced with 5 foot tall doweled round pole fence. We have many jumps and are planning several cross country jumps as well. We have a PVC Dressage Arena from Premiere Equestrian set up on some great Bermuda grass turf. Rick built a two story 12 x 24 air conditioned tack room and most recently a concrete covered wash rack. There is ample room to ride and it is only a short distance to the Mississippi river where long levee rides are possible. Visit the "About RLEC" link to the left to learn more. LOCATION Right Lead Equestrian Center is located on Bayou Paul Lane, just south of the University Club on Hwy 30 (Nicholson Extension). From Baton Rouge take Bluebonnet down to Hwy 30 and take a left towards Gonzales. Approximately 3 miles down you will come to a traffic light which is the Bayou Paul, Hwy 30 intersection.
