| Business Description: | Alexandra Paso Finos was establised in Tampa, Florida, in 1992 with the purchase of my first PFHA registered mare. I became interested in gaited horses when introduced to paso finos by my physical therapist while recovering from knee surgery caused by an auto accident. It was named for my infant daughter, Alexandra, with the hope that she would also love horses as she grew to adulthood. In 2003, we relocated to Ocala, Florida, the Horse Capital of the World, where we increased the size of the farm to over 75 acres at three different locations. One black mare in foal has now grown to aproximately 100 registered paso finos ranging in age from newborns to 25 years. We have direct offspring of Bochica, Contrapunto, Gracioso, Retorno del Ocho, Plebeyo, La Gaviota, Ladrillo, Lunares, Don Neco, Nevado, Capuchino, Vitral, Hussein, Amadeus and numerous others. Standing at stud are the black fino stallion, Plebeyo Dos, gray fino stallion Damasco del Ocho, along with Amadeus de Alexandra, Temblor de Alexandra, Saladin de Alexandra (pure Puerto Rican Don Neco son), Tikal de Nevado, and Don Miguel de Alexandra. Home of Top Ten Dam, Reina de Alexandra, the mother of National Champion Bella Forma Yearling Gelding Pistolero de Alexandra and Reserve National Champion Bella Forma 2 Year Old Filly, Maraquita de Alexandra and Reserve National Champion Bella Forma Yearling Gelding, Shadowfax de Alexandra. Pistolero de Alexandra has been the High Point Bella Forma Gelding as a yearling, two year old and three year old as well as being a PFHA Top Ten Gelding in 2004 and 2005. Alexandra Klepak has shown her beloved gelding, Prometheus de La Tierra, and made him not only a High Point Pleasure Gelding, but also the USEF Farnam Performance Grand National Champion Paso Fino for 2005. Better known as "Batman" for his unique ears, Alex has also made him the 2006 Southern Region Paso Fino Horse Association's High Point Horse as well as the High Point Performance Horse and the Amateur Owner High Point Performance Horse. Alex is also the PFHA 2006 High Point Pleasure Youth and the 2006 High Point Performance Youth. Although we do enjoy attending shows throughout the Southeastern United States, our main focus is on breeding quality paso finos. We have acquired over time, bloodlines that have proven their value in the past and mixed them with today's popular new lines as well as preserving some of the older mixes. Our horses are bred mainly for their natural gait, but we also strive for good temperment, excellent conformation, in an array of colors including black, gray, palomino, buckskin, chestnut, dun, pinto, cremello, and bay. |
