I was given a paso and i don't know nothing about them because i'm a walker owner so are pasos spirited because mine i do not trust and he's broke they use to ride him on trails .
HI, I have a beautiful Paso named Josie. She is the love of my life. No one else at my barn has a Paso & am anxious to meet some other Paso owners. I ride with friends who have Tenn. Walkers. Have just had Josie going barefoot since October. She was recovering from a bout of laminitis & is doing beautifully thanks to her Barefoot Trimmer. Truly think "barefoot " is the way to go. I've just read Joe Camp's book "Soul of a Horse' & heartily recommend it to anyone who loves horses.
Hi Sarah!
I see we both have horses named Buddy and neither is a Paso Fino! I do have another horse nicknamed Kurly though that is a Paso Fino. I need to find a saddle to show him in and was thinking about a Grand Paragon with a wide tree. Does anyone know if this saddle is used in paso breeds? I had to replace some of my tack since the last several horses I had were quarter horses. WOW, the paso bits are expensive! I mainly ride english and that is what I will be showing. It is kind of hard to tell the exact type of saddle that is used in shows by looking at videos, and I've only had Kurly since October so I wasn't able to go to any shows to see first hand. Thanks for the help!
