Hey! I love riding bareback - and I'm currently working on bridless, too! I've been able to ride with just a string around my horse's neck for a long time, or with just a carrot stick or whip, but we're working on absolutely nothing!! I love to talk about horses and ask or answer questions, so feel free to message me!
PS I have a dressage arab for sale in Colorado - he's trained in natural horsemanship!

Wow! that sounds awesome!
I'm just starting to train my horse bridleless - when I started training him last year, he had a bolting problem and he would bolt any time he saw a hat.
Unfortunately, it's difficult to ride around here this time of year… too much ice everywhere, but it's a great time to play all kinds of games on the ground :) I still get on bareback after doing a few too many wind sprints to keep going on the ground.
Will do more when spring arrives.

My horse has high withers, so I just scoot back and enjoy the amazing ride with my horse. It's great exercise for the thighs and posture. I love not having my boots/shoes in stirrups and the bonding we create. I love my horse; she is my 1st horse!!!
the first time i went bareback riding was at a horse camp and we went on a trail ride and the feel of the pony under me was amazingly different and wonderful!
Riding bareback is soo much fun...I love galloping a horse bareback, and jumping bareback (if i dont fall off), but just feeling the horse underneath you is amazing...
