I ride my mustangs just bareback...neither one will ever have a saddle...seems more natural that way for them... but my thoroughbred well he is a different story

When its -20degrees F you dont want to spend all your time saddling, bareback just works so much better.

Hello =) I'm 50 and have been riding bareback since I was 18. I only use a saddle for hacking out in steep terrain with large groups of TB's! I used a saddle form 4 to 18 then bought an OTT Standardbred. I couldn't afford a saddle. He trotted till he galloped - and I got a Velcro ass!

I've been riding bareback for about 6 years, and I love it! We found a bareback stable and I thought it was a little odd at first but now I love it!

I almost NEVER ride with a saddle in the summer because in texas the temp can reach well above 100 degrees plus its just quicker than tacking up your horse :)

I work at a farm camp in the summer in northern california. I am the coordinator of a bareback riding program. Its really fun to ride bareback through the redwoods with awesome kids! I need a really fun, awesome, hardworking team this summer. Interested? Hit me up!
