i ride hunter/jumper, sporthorse, and dressage. i recently switched to an eventing barn so this is gonna be a blast!! :D i love flying through the air with pure power under me, and i love being able to control it with a single muscle movement. horses are the best thing in my life without a shadow of a doubt. my family thinks im crazy cuz of the risk. but thats part of the draw isnt it.

My daughter started out learning to ride bareback so has a good seat, she went to western and does games, and trail rides, did horse drill team, then we got a TWh and a saddlbred so she learned saddleseat, she is now learing hunt seat. She has the goal of making her spazzy saddlebred an all around horse, dressage is next, found a trainer for that now. She would love to do some trick riding. and reining...maybe someday. He might not be perfect in anything, but every disipline they both learn something from it and it helps her to be a better rider and him to be a better horse.

I basically started out western pleasure...I got some reining tips so am slowly training my horse for reining...and now I started taking jumping lessons at a local barn. All of it is a blast!

I ride western and barrel race but I've always wanted to learn english. So I am borrowing my friend's english saddle for a couple of weeks to try it out before I go out and spend the money on buying one. So I can't wait till tomorrow so I can try it out! If anyone else does barrels or lives in Missouri or anywhere else please message me.

its fun learning new disciplines but its hard i've changed so many times since i got my horse and worked with 3 trainers before the barn we are at right now so that made it super hard. but now we are doing great things and my horse rides english and western, chases cows and goes through obstacals and will jump just about anything
