I own 2 Friesian, 3 yr old mares. They are WONDERFUL. I got the 1st one in April 2009 & the 2nd in Sept 2009. I always said horses are like potatoe chips "you can't have just one". but Friesians are more-so that way.
one of the most beautiful breeds, I wonder in temperment how they stand up to other breeds any ideas? I'd like to know more about them there care and upkeep, i'm considering buying one. So if anyone wants to give me any tips I would appreciate it.
I have a friesian X saddlebred (Georgian Grande) from Flying W Farms in Ohio. He jus turned 3 and I couldn't imagine a horse with more personality, presence, and intelligence than he has. What an absolutely WONDERFUL cross!
I have a Friesian X filly for sale if anyone is interested. She is a beautiful black/brown, coming 3 yr old and I just cannot keep her. She is a must sell so I am having to sacrifice and sell what I can. She has not been started under saddle but does lunge. She is a blank slate for someone to start her in the manner that works best for them. She would make an excellent dressage prospect, she has beautiful movement and lots of lift.

Friesians of Majesty has a beautiful farm in VT. We had the best time at their cottage. They give lessons in riding & driving & even have small camps where you get to work with their horses. I saw their stallion Othello at the Keuring in MA this September & he's gorgeous!!!!!
