I don't own any horses, but Iabsolutley love them espically tennessee walkers... i used to ride one where i ride at now, she was 17 years old and such a gentle girl but she was the boss of her herd and she would try and be the boss over you, her name when my instructor got her was Jennifer's annie mae but they shortened it to Mae she was a bay, but sadly my instructor had to get rid of her because she couldn't afford to feed her i miss her to this day but i know that she is in a good home...

Hi everyone!
Our little Lucy is our TWH. She's almost 4 now and just getting started under saddle. Her lineage is suppose to go back to Roy Roger's Trigger! If you didn't know, there were actually 3 Triggers. The THW Trigger only did one movie and some appearances.
We are not real familiar with TWH's, so is there anything we can do to encourage her to do the gait once she is trained? Or does it just come naturally to her? Any tips or comments would be much appreciated! Thanks :)

I lve TN Walkers I used to ride a 42yr old mare and she was an awesome jumper!!! She jumped a 3ft jump!!! I'll post some pictures so you all can se what she looks like!!

hey i have been riding walkijng horses for 5 years now and been showing them for 3years... I love them so much they are my favorite. I have a 7 year old walking horse and i have been showing him for 3 years he is everything to me and i love him so much. He is so good with me and i give him all my trust and love plus he is so good in the show ring i am so proud of him.. I think walking horses are an amazing breed and i wish there were more in new jersey everyone should no about this breed and see how wonderful they are!!!!

New to TWH for about a year now and totally love them. Got my first baby for Christmas 2008. Became associated with them thru my new adoptive family. They have many for sale if anyone is interested. Claim to fame: Pusher's Slew of Blue standing at stud. He is the most amazing TWH I have ever seen! I love to ride the breed, very easy going, truly graceful. Can't wait for this spring to start riding again.

Hello Walker lovers <3 Hope all is well with you and your horses. The winter is going good here so far we haven't had a whole lot of snow that has stayed and my Walkaloosa Gelding has been doing so great with his jumping training. I can't wait to get him in a show this spring and see how he does :) i think that some of the warmbloods might get a run for there money :P haha but we shall see :)

I'm Cindy (new to this site)... I have 3 horses. 1 is a registered sorrel TWH gelding who is an absolute baby doll. I have another 1/2 Walker that is my big alpha mare. I also have an arabian that is a lawn ornament. I have had her for 16 years now she is just a big baby that loves kisses. I have always favored the TWH because of their gentle manner and they make an awesome trail horse. Check out my profile to see pics of my 2 walkers..
