Hi. I'm new here. I live in Rexburg. I'm trying to earn my "cowgirl" status which is an ongoing, everlearning process. I ride to chase cows, spread salt, brand, and see the mountains. Don't do shows or anything like that. I'm learning to rope and how to sort cows. I'm riding a 4 year old and have had him since he was 2. So, we're both in training. But we are having a blast doing it. I've only been riding seriously for about 4 years, so am still new. I know I need more training than my horse! And I'm having a blast learning. I ride with some true blue cowboys. Some old, some younger. They're trying to teach me as we go along. They all have different styles. Nothin fancy, just gettin the job done. Anyone have any tips?
