What are they thinking??? My little filly was a rescue from a PMU farm and was just days away from being taken to Canada and had that happened she would have slaughtered. These people in the Government have no clue what they are doing. I dont think they care either. Here in Nevada we are trying to keep our mustangs from being slaughtered. This breaks my heart and angers me deeply!!

wow....mustangs are so cool though! Why can't people just stop capturing and killing them and just let them be. They have done fine for hundreds of years without capture!

have a website to have you to pass on to other people. I do have to warn you that the pictures are very graphic and probably will make you cry. But you should pass this on because it will raise awareness for these poor animals. The website is: freewebs.com/tessasordeal

Well, I bet! They had NO right to hurt her. I bet you always wonder where she'd be today......I almost do. Well, I hope things get better for you and maybe another wonderful mule will come your way, even if, nothing could ever replace her.

some of the pics I have seen of some of these horses, is horrible I really do want to cry because these poor animals don't deserve this kind of treatment. I really wish for stricter laws for people who abuse or neglect animals. I don't think any law can be to strict. I firmly believe these people should suffer the exact same treatment that these poor animals have suffered, then they would know exactly how these animals feel, to me the whole problem is the laws are not tough enough on people who abuse or neglect animals. and that is why it is continually being done. myself and several other people including a dear friend of mine were Successful in passing the T-bone bill, which is a law that now says people who abuse or neglect animals now have to pay fines and it could lead to jail time. To me it is not enough!!! it should be for these people to go to jail and be treated exactly the same way they treated the animal. sorry my opinion my be too much for some people, but it is my opinion and I stand by it!!

Actually,I totally agree with you.The law needs to be way stricter on those kinds of people. And I'm pretty sure most people in this group agree strongly with you.

I adopted both of my horses at seperate times from a animal control center. My first horse Tesla, was rescued with 17 other horses and various other animals. My second horse Mister was rescued from an owner who abandoned him. When I saw my horses for the first time, I saw past their thin bodies and matted hair. I wanted to help them and love them. These horses are like my children now and I will never sell them. We are in it together!
