Hi i am Kathy i am a HB in pony club and i love it. i event training or prelim. i want to move up to intermediate i love my horses/ponies. yes i still ride ponies. my goal is to start up a business of my own one day and for eventing ponies. i do plan on showing in the fall but i have no idea where yet

What area is everyone here from? And are you planning on competing in shows this fall?

I'm in Area V, and unfortunately, probably will not be competing for about a year.

I compete/coach/ride/train in area 1 and promote Natural Horsemanship facilitated training and riding. We've had a great season! Impressive scores and ribbons, but most of all fun with our horses!

I'm in WA (I THINK that's area seven..or maybe five. I don't remember which =P) and I am a D3 in Foxhills Pony Club, though I could pass as a C2. I am still searching for a horse to event on but I now have leased horse that I can do Novice with. Its tons of fun! I have a goal to be a solid Novice rider by the end of next season when I finally get a horse. So excited to meet everyone and get a real tight community!

Lol, I did Pony Club for a while when I was a lot younger, but I didn't like it at all. xD

I am from Area VI I think...I just went to my first event with my horse who has the miles, but I don't! It was so much fun....it was at the Woodside Horse Park in Woodside, CA. Thanks so much for making this group!! I can't wait to meet other eventers. (The best ever riders and horses of course!)

I'm in WA and haven't shown for a while, sadly I've been horseless for almost a year! =( But hopefully next season i will be in the circuit! I think this group will get goin' quick, seems to be a good group of people here. Always jokin that Eventing people are the kindest, they are so well rounded... just as our horses are! =P

Ugh. I hate not showing. xD It's so much fun! Good luck finding a good horse to compete with! I'm looking as well. And of course, we are the most well rounded, lol. ;)

I'm not familiar with the area numbers, but I'm in the tri-state area (PA, OH, WV) I'd like to compete but the event series I do is over for the year :o(

Aw, well I checked the USEA website (www.useventing.com) and you compete in Areas II and VIII. :D What event series do you compete in?

*NEWSFLASH:*

I've decided that weekly, we will have a different picture of an eventing professional. It will be changed every Saturday night (except for the current picture, which will be up until next Saturday). This week's professional is **Eric Horgan**. He's a fabulous trainer with years of experience, and he gives amazing clinics. I've ridden in two of them. :D
