The horses at the PMU are treated horribly. They have tostand all day with poor care, and when their babies get weaned, they're normally sent straight to slaughter!! That doest seem fair to me at all!! All for hormone replacing drugs!!

I have a PMU rescue filly and she is the sweetest horse I have ever had. She has the saddest eyes you have ever seen. You can tell she has been through a lot. She was on her way to Canada to be slaughtered when she was rescued along with another 30 horses. It just makes me angry that this is allowed to happen.

Oh, that's awesome!! I would LOVE yo own one, but i have 6 horses and no room in my barn. You should help support my group "Until They're Safe!!" it's to help stop the fight to save unwanted horses.
