Natural Horsemanship

This group is for the not so conventional rider and/or horse owner who chooses to work/train/ride their horse in a more natural way. Here you can discuss tips, problems, locations for natural horsemanship such as seminars, and/or whatever you would like to discuss that is related to using natural horsemanship methods and not the typical methods many of us are so used to using to work with horses. I know that ever since I started to work with natural horsemanship, as in "Parelli's", techniques, I have never felt right to do anything else, different, especially, in respect to the horse. I still will ride English at a barn, even if it is not natural, just for the chance to ride a horse. So understand that I feel it is ok to ride the more typical way when there is no option at that time. I hope that this group can be a place for others who feel the same way, to be able to discuss, work together, help each other out, etc, so that we may be able to help educate others of this wonderful, natural way of working with such a beautiful and sensitive creature. Even if some of you feel strongly against the older type of methods used in the horse world, please know that this is not a place to bash those other forms of riding or training that other people choose to use. Everyone has their own way of working with horses and I feel that it is a personal thing between horse and rider. So please only be positive in this forum. Thank you. Enjoy! Happy trails....
