I have a 15 year old gelding TWH and we trail ride. A friend of mine that boards my horse has 4 TWH that she shows. I love going to the shows.

I've been involved with TWH ever since I answered an add for Black Beauty. Over the 30 years I've been lucky enough to train under Billy Gray, ride some amazing horses, own a breeding farm that produced awsome babies, but my heart is and always was with trail riding. My horse is 20 this year, watched him hit the ground. And is my equine counterpart. He has taken care of me many times on the trail. We are all lucky to have such great horses.

Hi everyone, I have a 16 y.o TWH gelding and a 8 y.o 1/2 TWH mare. The gelding is my baby. I just got back from Grayson Highlands for a weekend camping/ riding trip. Had a blast despite the rain. I have owned walking/ racking horses the majority of my life. I really enjoy trail riding on a TWH. I don't show anymore. That is a thing of the past :)

I'm the very fortunate owner of 3 walkin' horses. One is just turning 2 in a couple days. She is totally awesome, she's a cremello and the star of the barn. I live in California and there aren't many other gaited horse people here. It's nice to have this forum where everyone understands the unique issues and wonderments that gaited horses provide!!

We're moving Thursday!! It won't be long till I am on my back deck, whistling at horses!!! It is such a beautiful scene in the back with gently sloping hills that end in woods. Horses grazing and the other day there were 11 deer!!!! I can't wait to get to the horses.

I have two Tenessee Walkers, they are half sisters, a couple weeks apart from each other. Very smooth! Lots of fun watching them go into their strides.

Love them dearly.

I bought two TWH mares last year and have been re-learning so much about horses. I am experimenting with feeling out the different gaits on my own and how to get them into the nice rocking canter readily. I am enjoying them SO much.

Welcome to anyone who wants to join this group!!! I love gaited horses. I have been around them all my life. I had to sell my TN Walker and my Racking Horse when I lost my farm. I was heartbroken. But now I am moving next to my best friend from elementary school and junior high school and her dad has lots of gaited horses. I hope to be able to help him train them and exercise them. I have fibromyalgia so sometimes it is difficult but horses seem to calm me like I can calm them and the pain is definately worth the pain. I can't wait to go riding with my BFF!!!
