The group for anyone who rides or wants to ride bitless! I lease a horse who I have nevewr ridden with a bit-usually just the halter and clip-on reins (even on trail rides). Bitless is not for every horse-I cannot stress enough how important it is to respect all horses' strength, but it is very rewarding. If you are just starting out bitless, try riding on the longeline or in a ring first, because some horses will be confused that you are riding them without a bit. Sooner or later, though, you should just be able to slap on a halter and leadrope and ride!
