Hi. I am just starting to train one of my former racehorses for eventing. I am new to the sport as well. I have done some hunter in the past, but I have not been to a event with a horse or even to a show in decades! Im in Texas, so Area V. Looking forward to the spring and the chance to go to some schooling events and learn the ropes. Any advise for a first timer? Anyone close to Bryan, Texas?

I'm in Weatherford :] but it's not close to Bryan, It's still Texas though! Love Greenwood, Pine Hill, Meadow Creek, can't think of the others right now, but those are what everyone travels to in a lot of TX. Greenwood is like THREE miles from me! It's great because they host some CCI** stuff and that is pretty awesome to watch. Sorry if this doesn't help you but that's all I got! Wish you well! :] !!!!!

I am looking forward to the weather warming up enough to really get in some quality ride time. I have a young mare that I am starting this spring. We need alot of schooling and lessons. It would be nice if we could just get above freezing.
