Alden,
That is great I will pass on the info about the NBC coverage to all of my reining friends.
Yes I have watched stories referenced below and they are wonderful. Thanks so much for offering them to us.
Well can't wait to see what you will have for us in 2011!
Best Regards
Carrie
My Pleasure.
We're done for 2010, but may have some surprises for you in 2011 for Reining coverage. Sit tight. Don't forget to watch NBC this Sunday at 12pm ET/9am PT for WEG coverage. NRHA bought 2 of the 6 hours of coverage. It ought to be awesome.
Have you seen the A Rider's Story on Shawn and Craig, The McQuay's & McCutcheons and the Reining WEG Selection Trials? They are all awesome and under the TV Video tab
Hi Carrie,
Thank you for the suggestion. You are echoing the sentiments of many EL members. You're right we did do the Futurity last year, but time did not permit this year as we had just covered the Pfizer Million Dollar Grand Prix in Saugerties. We will certainly make note of your suggestion. Keep 'em coming!
Hi Alden, just wondering if it would be possible to post the Open Futurity video. I think we were able to watch it last year. If it is not possible would you consider it for next year's show. It is so nice to watch the show for those of us who could not be there. Thanks so much !! Carrie
try hitting the play arrow in the center of the screen. Wait until the clock at the bottom hits 5 minutes (grab a drink and come back) and slide the little white circle just to the right of the II (pause) icon right toward the end of the shadowed area within the bar. Long story short, the video starts after 5 minutes.
I cannot seem to view the replay of the Derby. It just keeps loading and loading and loading...,. I was there in Vegas but had to scratch my Futurity mare due to extreme dehydration. My trainer had 2 flats on the way in in the heat! We had to run IVs on her and she was just not right for her class...so we scratched her. :( The I had to catch a flight early on Saturday and so missed half of the Derby. I did get to see my new friend from Edmonton, Canada, Cheryl Mitchell. I thought she did great. She got a check in Intermediate and Limited. Way to go Cheryl!
Thanks for your patience. Both Derby replays are up and ready to watch! The Open Derby starts within a few seconds of downloading, the Non Pro Derby requires forwarding the button on the bottom strip to about the 5 minute marker on the clock at the bottom (you won't miss anything, just a long lead in).
I'm not having any luck watching the replay, an audio track of some pop songs but no video at all. Am I premature in trying? Perhaps it's not posted in its entirety yet?
