I owned & rode frequently as a preteen, & teenager. My husband of 28 yrs, who has never rode, & I rescued a very neglected & abused, 2yr old gelding almost 2 yrs ago. After good nutrition & lots of TLC, our registered, champion bld line quarter horse has grown into a 15.5 hand, beautiful big baby. He thinks & acts like our Great Danes. We are very BLESSED to have him in our lives. We recently blanketed & saddled him, & it went so easily well, I mounted & rode him, w/ my husband walking him on lead! Incredible & awesome! We LOVE our 'Thunderbolt', and THANK GOD for him daily!

I hope I can get this.. . Branding is coming up and so lots of rope training with my young quarter horse is coming up! Weather is nice enough to not wear a heavy jacket but too cold yet to wear short sleeves.. .. ;) anyway I'm hopeful! :)
