- Bred in Kentucky by Grapestock LLC, Archarcharch is by Arch, who was a late bloomer for Claiborne Farm in what was a very strong crop of three-year-olds in 1998. Arch arrived on the scene that fall to take the 1 1/4-mile Super Derby (G1) and break a 1 3/16-mile track record at Keeneland in beating older horses in the Fayette S. (G3).
- Arch, a descendant of Broodmare of the Year Courtly Dee (Never Bend) through her juvenile champion daughter Althea (Alydar), has sired 2010 champion older male and Horse of the Year finalist Blame, Canadian Horse of the Year Arravale, Alabama S.
