How to Qualify:

Pfizer USGPL Rider Rankings will be calculated based on money won by the horse/rider combination. A rider's money won will count only after the rider has met the following criteria:

• The rider (on any horse or horses) must compete in at least eight (8) Open Jumper Classes of $25,000 or more at any combination of HITS shows in 2010 (includes HITS Thermal, HITS Ocala, HITS Arizona, HITS Saugerties, HITS Culpeper). • As many as two Classes per show week will count toward this number. Note: On those show weeks when three (3) Classes of $25,000 or more are offered, only two (2) of those will count toward the number of Classes competed. However, Money Won in all three classes will count toward a rider's total money won.

Additional Qualifying Specifications:

• Money Won will be calculated by horse/rider combination. It will be a rider's top-placed horse that will determine the rider's final ranking. • In the event that two or more riders are qualified for the final qualifying position, all those tied will qualify. • If a qualified rider declines, the next rider in the standings will be invited until all 40 slots are filled. • The rider may ride only one (1) horse in the Finals, but may ride any horse of his/her choice. • The last Qualifying Class counting toward rider rankings will be at HITS-on-the-Hudson VII, September 1-5, 2010. Note: The Wild Card class held at HITS-on-the-Hudson VIII will not count toward the final rider rankings.
