Jill keeps her horses at Messenger Hill, a training and boarding facility in Mettawa, Illinois. A Westphalian gelding ridden by Freddie Vazquez caught her eye. “One night I was setting jumps for Freddie in the schooling ring while he rode Pan Kai and after they beautifully jumped a 4’6 vertical, I knew I wanted him as my Amateur Owner Hunter,” Jill relates. “Pan Kai just gets better and better as the challenge increases.”
