About Me

In 2007, Deana co-founded EquestrianLife.com, a social media site dedicated to equestrians and horse lovers across all disciplines. The site launched in 2008 and was awarded the best new Web site for equestrians that year. Many people refer to EquestrianLife.com as the Horse Facebook. Equestrian Life recently partnered with HRTV to create television programming about equestrians and equestrian-related topics. Equestrian Life believes in the power of Web, television and mobile to create a great platform for our users to express and nuture their passion and are working to put all these pieces together into a dynamic trio of experiences.

The goal of EquestrianLife.com is to bring together equestrians and provide the breadth and depth of information and tools they need to learn and connect with other horse lovers who share the same passion. After some political work in London and D.C. and a stint at NBC in Minneapolis, Deana has spent the last 20 years in executive roles across leading internet companies in Silicon Valley, including the NASA Science Internet (NSI) at Ames Research Center, Excite@Home, Epinions, Shopping.com, eBay and Demand Media. Deana is now dedicated to building the best Web site, creating innovate equestrian television programming and launching fun, useful mobile applications and tools for the equestrian community.

Deana is an avid equestrian herself, competing in Hunters when she is not working on EquestrianLife.com. In addition to all things equestrian, Deana also enjoys travel, France/French, music, movies, cooking, fashion and design, great restaurants and hotels, sunshine and, most importantly, spending time with her family and friends.
