About Me
I have one Quarter Horse, Jackie, who loves to have her way. We get along just fine, as long as she has time while riding where she can do whatever she wants, and a time where she follows my lead, it is very pleasent. She is a Chesnut with what looks like a dark bloodmark on her hindend, but I'm skeptical about it. She was used a broodmare for a while, then her previous owner found out she was broken. I started riding her and then I got her for Christmas.
I have 2 brothers, named Brandon and Darren, and 1 sister, Becca. They are not as into horses as I am but Brandon likes to ride them from time to time. He has no horses though. Most of my friends like horses, some more than others. A lot of them just like to watch people ride them and say, "Damn, I wish I could do that!" I've tried to get them on a horse, but they always act like the horse could swallow them up! I currently do not live in the country, but my horse is stabled at the ranch of her previous owner (and one of me and my moms good friends). She is the lead mare of a harem of broodmares.
I am 15 years old, and absolutly love horses or any animal in general. My best talent with them would be grooming. I can make them shine. My riding skills can use a tune up, but tune-ups with horses and riding never really end. We trail riding, and I used to barrel racing on another horse last year. Since I got my own horse, I'm thinking of retrainin gher from scratch. She could really use it, but then again so do I. I think everything, again, could use a good tune-up, and she and I are getting a big one.
