About Me
I am an Intermediate-1 Equestrian Rider at Reddemeade Riding Stables in Silver Spring, MD. I have been riding for about 15 years. I am able to hand difficult horses and have learned the patience required to get back in the saddle after being thrown (lol).
I have been thrown multiple times (aprox 12), bucked, kicked, stomped on, "purposely squished & squashed", bitten, knocked sideways, head-butted, nearly ROLLED on 3 times, dealt with heat sickness multiple times (both mind and the horse's), have had a horse kick at mine over 10 times while riding up a hill, and run into by another horse while riding. I have also been thrown over jumps, thrown while going over jumps, thrown over fences, thrown into an electric fence (OUCH!), landed on a jump (also ouch!), thrown into a tree (don't ask), had a horse run me into a tree on purpose; had a horse turn around in the middle of a lesson just to bite my toes; run into the wall purposely, thrown over the indoor wall & gate (2 seperate incidents); been thrown and landed at the hooves of a Minature Stallion, stairing up as he snarled (oh yes, they can snarl); and been tossed into another horse (also ouch). I have landed on my tailbone 3 times, never broken a bone, got a concussion from the horse's neck when flying sideways and upside down on bucking horse (evil pony...absolutely EVIL); and severed part of a nerve in my big toe, thanks to a 1400-Ib "Mare's Mare" that decided it was fun to not only squish my toe, but also to put her full body weight on that one foot.
I have ridden over 40 horses, from North Carolina to Colorado to New Jersey to Maryland; I have ridden both English and Western, but I prefer English, especially Hunter Seat & Crosscountry. I have jumped up to 3 1/2 foot jumps and have done 3-foot logs on crosscountry. I have also jumped streams but I hate jumping streams (long story).

And I am currently writing 3 novels; only one is planned for publication at this point. I enjoy writing poetry and doing traditional and digital art as well.
I am engaged to John Consiglio, who is currently training with the USAF at the Lackland AFB.
