About Me
My name is Alycia, I'm20 y/o & I currently attend Delaware Valley College, Majoring in Equine Studies. I lease (sort of) a horse from my trainer. He's an 18 y/o registered Thoroughbred gelding whose been there & done that but still acts like he's 10 y/o.
I ride both western and english, but I absolutely love Hunt Seat. My horse & I excel in the hunter ring at shows & at the barn. I love to show I just don't like all the prep work lol, braiding is not my forte & my fingers usually cramp halfway through the mane.
I work at an English lesson barn that mainly teaches Hunt Seat, but also teaches english pleasure, eq. & some jumpers. We have game nights on horseback for the kids & they love it. My horse however hates the heavy western saddle he has to wear lol

64. Is your horse able to be ridden bareback: As far as I know, he no longer likes it because he is overly sensitive & had a bad experience at an old farm that causes him to try to buck you off.

66. Is your horse good with children and other horses: He's quite opinionated & somewhat bossy with new or younger riders because he cant feel the kids on his back, so he has to have a handler or be in the round pen. but he's definately getting better.

80. Does your horse often have a very messy stall: yupp, but we try to keep our horses out as much as possible

98. How many people owned this horse before you: Don't "own" him, but anywhere from 3-5 i guess
99. Does your horse get dirty easily: Ohhhh yeah buddy! lol
100. What’s your favorite horsey memory: When we were out in his field and we played fetch for 2 minutes. The day he decided I was someone he needed to respect & he eventually ended up bonding with me.
