I am 44yrs. old a mother of 4 boys ages 23,21,20,18. My last son will graduate in 2009. I used to show my arabian in halter until I lost a job and then the farm. So now I live in apartment and my horses are at my boyfriends farm. When I lost my farm he was able to take one horse and my dog. So, right now I just ride for pleasure and I want to train Shalina and me dressage starting next spring or so and again just for pleasure. I have always had horses since I was little and never outgrew the thought of having a horse in my life. I only have a part-time job and I do some volunteer work and will be mentoring a child. I live in Michigan, so its tough getting a job, especially at the age of 44, because there are so many out of work, companies want people who can work faster than I can for better profits. But I am still plugging along.
