Hi there!
My name is Leah. I'm 17 and I live in South Texas. I have 3 horses: a AQHA Registered QH - Daisy N Duke (Daisy), an APHA Registered Paint/QH - R Chocolate Loot (Loot), and her son, APHA Registered Paint - Gracie's Cherokee Loot (Joey). They are incredible animals. I love them so much. I have a wonderful boyfriend who rides with me as often as he can.
I'm new to this site, and I'd like to meet other horse enthusiasts. I've always loved them - it's just something you're born with. My family was never into it, my mother is scared to death of anything larger than a cat or small dog, and even a small dog is pushing it. Ha. But I've always been a dreamer, wanting my own, and just recently that dream's come true. I mostly pleasure ride, trail and the like, running barrels in the front pasture sometimes, but never really competing. Daisy is an NCHA money earner, about 8 grand, but she didn't win it with me. I can cut cattle with her - I just drop the reins and hang on - she knows her cows. But otherwise I just enjoy my time with horses on long trail rides with my boyfriend and friends.
