I've been riding since I was 5 or 6...so about 18 years. When I was younger I competed in multiple A-rated shows. Then in college I competed with the IHSA. I've always ridden hunter/jumpers. About a year ago I fell off doing a jumping course and broke my finger/sprained my hand. I've since developed a mental block when it comes to jumping. But recently my barn had a clinic and the clinician had me doing full courses at 2' and 2'3"...the highest I've jumped since the accident! So...things are looking up. I don't own a horse, but I currently lease one.
