Well I guess you can say I'm a horse fanantic. They've always been my life. I own 2 horses, Buster and Xander, who I love more than life. I also own a white german shepard, Natasha, a guinea pig, Wilfred, a boxer, Sunshine, and a cat, Plop.
I mostly do gymkhana, but I LOVE to trail ride. I used to ride english for about 2 years, but its not my thing.
Buster is a 15 year old red roan QH gelding. I run barrels with him, he isn't really a sane horse, but he's the horse of my dreams. He is a rescue and has the scars to show it. He's also a ex-bronco (makes my life easy!!! lol) He also has Navicular, making him a little bit of a high maintnance horse. Buster was bound for slaughter, and I saved him. He's never had it easy. But now he's my BEST friend and I couldn't live without him.
Xander is my 7 year old red dun QH gelding. I got him in late March (2011) and he hadn't EVER been handled except to be brought to me. Since March, I've trained him to rein, jump (only up to 2'6"), do gymkhana, and trail ride. All of which I trained him to do on the trail! He is a dream. He brings home first place and Champion ribbons even trophies! He's a great endurance horse, he can trail ride at a fast pace for over 11 hours at a time without a break. He's a huge love bug and he still thinks he's two so he plays with everything!
