About Me

Hello, I'm Kora and i'm just your typical horse lover. I've been riding pretty much all my life and absolutely love it!!! I've competed in Hunter/Jumper for many many years and then decided on switching in up a bit and running barrels, which is a blast by the way!! I fell in love with the whole rodeo atmosphere and continued rodeoing for about 3yrs until my mare died of heat stress colic.... It was a very tragic time because she was my best friend and we had been though so much over the years but I wouldn't let that end my horse world. I took up Hunter/Jumper again with Nash and even though we haven't shown yet he shoew great potential and absolutely loves it. But since the Tippers death I realized there was apart of me missing. I missed that rodeo atmosphere that I was always around with her and everytime I went to a rodeo it just never felt the same. I always felt I should be on the other side of that fence running around those barrels but thankfully that is when I got a great opportunity to be apart of that again. I heard from a friend they were trying to start a Drill team ( Cowgirl Chic n Chaps) and without hesitation I took the offer and started up with my Big Paint Kidd! he is young and hasn't had much showing but I think he will realy love it so i'm excited to see what will happen!
