About Me
I half rescued/half bought an Arabain mare named Gem back in December. I have been working with her a lot to improve her respect issues and quirks under saddle (such as not turning to the left and hating to bend in general). She is a little beyond my skills so I moved her to a beautiful barn for horse boot camp. She is loving life and we are beginnign to bond a lot better. As much I am teaching her, she is teaching me 100% more. She is a very independent horse and I am a wimp and not very trustful so we are learning to trust one another.
I lover her to pieces and she has filled a void in my life that I didn't even know was there. I am hoping to continue this improvement an dhave many, many wonderful years together.
I also just bought a haflinger quater horse cross for my husband. He has been wanting a buddy to trail ride and learn with and I think it is a match made in heaven. They have already hit it off and I think they will be great.
I am hoping to get a camcorder soon and start recording my time with her and keeping a video journal of our time together.
I love reading the Q&A section on here and have learned a lot and hopefully I have helped some. I also love having friends on here, so add me if you want! :)
