About Me
I am a farrier and a professional trainer located in Northwest Illinois. I have a wonderful wife who also loves horses and a daughter is currently pursuing her career as a professional trainer and rider. I grew up riding western. I rode western pleasure and ran the speed events. As I got older I became more interested in riding english. I graduated from pony club and have continued to show and train eventers, hunter/jumpers, and dressage horses. I have even rode steeplechasers! I have trained with dressage judge Fatima Kranz, Olympic event rider Torrance Watkins, event rider Ralph Hill, and others well known in dressage and eventing. While I use to do all the starting of young horses, I now partner up with my daughter in getting young horses broke to ride. I love bringing a young horse from their first few rides right up to the upper levels. I have competed intermediate and rode at events such as Radnor, Rolex, Wayne, and St. James Farms.
