My name is Lynn Espinoza and I am an editor for Stock Horse Show Source. I write content for the website from the perspective of an amateur competitor in the stock horse world. Stock Horse Show Source.com is a site that provides horse show and horse keeping information for all levels of horse enthusiasts.
I personally have been involved in showing both quarter horses and appaloosas over the years. I currently own two horse, one appaloosa gelding and one quarter horse mare. I show both of them on larger open circuits right now due to cost of showing the breed circuits. I do try to show at the breed shows when I can.
I have been involved with horses since I was a kid, kicking off my show career with a big appaloosa mare named Angel at the age of 12. I have also been working with a professional horse trainer for the past four years. The mission of Stock Horse Show Source focuses on providing information about horses and horse showing to novice horse owners and exhibitors. I myself being an amateur exhibitor find that providing this information to novice equestrians can help them avoid some of the major mistakes that I made.
In my writings on the website I always recommend that new owners utilize equine professionals from all areas and not to replace any information they get from the website from that of any equine professional including but not limited to veterinarians, horse trainers, and farriers.
