About Me
I began my love for horses in New York City where I spent alot of my time making my Dad take me to the track to see the horses. Promising when we "moved to the west" That I could have a horse, I found one within the first couple weeks in Nevada. Of course, it was the "wrong" horse as safety standards go.... but a lifetime later- Prince Avalon is 4th generation bred of that first horse I got at 8 years old! In between, I was Rodeo Queen,foaled healthy live twin foals,was National Qualifer 11-13 on Appaloosas, roped calfs, rode 3-day eventing , Owned a cattle ranch , trained National Champion Arabians , endurance raced, was on an Equestrian based reality show- American Dream Derby , Built Royal Champion Training Center from the ground up(a youth orientated show barn), Rode Lippizan Horses to the High School Level, Competed and won on my little Arabians in open Dressage Shows like the Del Mar National Horse Show, Mid wifed foaling Mares, Flew horses holistically accross the country and the world, have horses I trained shipped and champions in other countries, Produced live action stunt shows, did stunt work in the movies, (last worked on Race to Witch Mountain- and The Hangover )Designed Equestrian Centers like the Saddle Club at Griffin Ranch) www.griffinranchlaquinta.com, wrote articles on the stunt business for a casting magazine, and Created the Amazon Ranch were I base my Equestrian Resident Summer Camp Program- Camp Camelot www.campcamelot.us and 50 acre film and television shoot ranch and .... although I have chased a ball around on polo fields in Barbados, England, Malaysia ,San Diego and Palm Springs along the way, am JUST learning about Polo as my son Dakota has taken a great interest in the sport! Now that we are back in Nevada , he is helping to bring polo to the local kids. I love my family- being my son, and my horses and can't imagine my life any other way!
