Has been an Equestrian Life Member since March 04, 2009, lives in Wilmington, Delaware, United States and considers herself a Professional in the Western discipline of Pleasure and Trail and Halter and Western Riding. She also rides English Saddle Seat.
I am 41 years old and have been on horses since I was born. I am married with no children and my husband will ride with me sometimes, but I mostly ride with my girlfriends. I have my love of horses from my father and grandfather. I can remember being a kid and my grandfather taking me thru our little town of Rising Sun, MD, on a two seated red pony cart with Trixie, my red n white pinto pony, with blue eyes, she was a beauty! I was hooked! I was raised around half breed tennessee walkers. My dad and I would train our own horses and enjoy riding together. I had to sell my horse when money became tight and have not been able to afford another one yet. I am blessed to have lots of friends who have horses that need to be exercised. I ride quarter horses, TB, gypsy vanners and any horse that my girlfriends are nervous to ride. My friends call me cowgirl! I love to ride western, but ride english sometimes, depends on the day, but I prefer western. I welcome any information about horses or people who just enjoy talking about horses. You don't have to own a horse to love a horse, but it helps!
