About Me
George and I have been married since September 3, 1995! I am the Italian and he is the Latin! Yes, everyone, our life is amazing! We are going strong and have an absolutely wonderful relationship and family life. We have so much fun and just love our lives and being together! We wake up each morning and are thankful for that we have each other, we are happy, healthy and the choices that we have made as individuals and as a couple!
Taylor, our daughter, WOW is 17 years old!!! I just can't believe it! What can I say; she is absolutely beautiful, amazing, smart, funny! and she loves to laugh at herself, and she is perfect! Taylor has been riding her whole life, and began showing when she was 8.
As a family and as individuals, we live and breathe horses! We live in one of the North Valleys of Reno. Taylor & George show horses together & watching them is the best thing in the whole world. It actually brought tears of happiness at a show we did in Grass Valley in the summer of 06! Then on June 15, 08 Father's Day, we had another show; it was awesome just watching them ride along the rail in a class or warming up. That my friends, is the meaning of Father's or Mother's Day!! Spending it together, as a family!
Our interests with our horses are showing and training, trail riding and camping with them. We currently have 4, we did have PT. Each one has their own unique character and personality. They are Diamond; Speeder; Zip and Chip. These are their barn names and only use their registered names for showing. George began his passion for horses at the tender age of 18 and started showing, his life long dream, 6 years ago. Me, well, I have had horses since the summer I was 5! Wow, that is 37 years now! I can't imagine a life without them!
Out of all this time, I have never nor do I have any desire to show, however, I have dedicated my future to George and Taylor and their passion for showing. I handle all the important things; getting them ready, washing, brushing, handling all the tack changes or whatever else comes up! It never seems to end; you always seem to have to run back to the trailer for this or that! Truly, you need 6 arms between the trailer and getting them and their horses ready! It is never ending, but one of the most rewarding jobs!
We have and are into our 2 wolves, Lakota and Kodiak, our 2 Jack Russells, Boppers and Rowdy. We enjoy hanging out with our friends and being outside with our horses, wolves and Jacks.
George and I served and retired after 27/20 years in the Nevada Air National Guard; so the next time you see a member of the Military of any branch, say "THANK YOU" as if not for those who went in before us, Our Grandfathers / mothers, Uncles / Aunts, Sisters / Brothers, Moms & Dads....AND our CURRENT SOLDIERS we would have nothing...
