About Me
I've been a horse nut my whole life and I finally bought my first horse in December of 2008. He was my Christmas present to myself.
I live in Michigan and also have Labrador Retrievers that I show.
I love photography, reading, writing, being out in nature either on the back of a horse or off.
In early 2008 a nice woman advertised on an email list that she was looking for someone to come by and ride, socialize and take care of her horses. She was so busy going for her degree, but she didn't want to give up the horses. Any guesses on who volunteered? *waves hand*
I still take care of those two mostly Morgan mares and now my boy Toby lives there with them. She doesn't charge me any board, I just pay for my own vet, farrier, hay bills as long as I continue to also take care of her girls. She certainly has been a God sent blessing in my life.
Ask me about my journey to find a horse. I had almost given up ever owning one of my own until Toby practically fell into my lap very unexpectedly.
