About Me
I love horses. The one and only thing I ever asked for my whole life was a horse. I began my journey in second grade with my current riding instructor. Once I got the basics down, my parents bought me my first horse. Starting out in the western saddle, I barrel raced on my retired rodeo horse Gin, chased cows around the pasture, and rode trails all around the farm. In middle school, I converted to english, learning lower level dressage and eventing. Today, as a full time college student, dressage is my main focus. I am a working student with my riding instructor who has helped me become the rider I am today. I now myself am training first and beginning second level with my giant 18 year old, 18 hh thoroughbred Tommie. I also train "western dressage" reining with my quarter horse Penny. Of course, its not all serious, Penny is becoming quite the trick horse, and Tommie quite the jumper! God has really blessed me by giving me my horses. For me, riding horses is more than a pastime for pleasure, it's living a dream!
