About Me
I am a sixteen year old rider, who has been riding for about 5-6 years. I started out wth natural horsemanship(i.e.no bridle, reins, saddle, or bareback pad) I then proceeded to very general western training. After two years of western training, I got bored and tryed english riding and jumping. I LOVED IT!!!!! Since then, I have bounced around from barn to barn, trying to find my fit. I leased a young paint gelding for a year, which gave me a lot of experience in dealing with a green or unexperienced horse, as I was not taking lessons and rode by myself. I recently started riding in lessons again, and am entering into a lease at my barn. It is a struggle, as I am relearning how to ride after becoming very lax and unbalanced from my time without a trainer. I hope to soon start competing locally, and at some IEA shows. For now, I have to work on getting Macy in shape and working on my riding skills.
