About Me

I have been riding for about 13 years now. I started out as hunter/jumper, did pony club and 4-h. I am now trying to get into the western sports...particularily reining as that is what I think my current horse will excel at and I think it's a beautiful discipline.I have rode many different breeds.my grandpa and I used to breed arabians and I would train them and get them ready for sale.I love natural horsemanship so i train all my horses naturally. I actually did all my current horses training bareback 100%...i have not ever been able to find a saddle that even comes close to fitting him.I have just recently had a baby and my horse is wuite a travel from me so I haven't been able to see him as much as I would like as I am used to having him right outside my door. My horses name is Chance and his dad was registered paint and his mom was registered QH although he has absoluetly no paint markings...he is all black with a few small markings. He is 10 now and quite the handful. He has only been ridden by 3 ppl in his lifetime, me, the professional trainer and his old owner (i think only like twice). He had 30 days professional training put on him at 4 yrs for reining, then he was pretty much left in a field till i found him 2 years later. I rode him for almost 2 years (and his dad and thier herd) and when it came time for my friend to downsize he had to go but I couldn't let him go so she sold him to me for $500. I've had him ever since. When I moved to kamloops I had a very hard time and didn't know any horse ppl so he stayed in kelowna where I knew he was safe until last summer when I was finally able to bring him home again.now, i am trying to get him back to where he was before. I am also looking to try and find a western coach in this area to help us and help me to obtain my western coach 1.This is my dream.
