About Me
Hello! I'm 48 now and I've owned horses most of my life - save a short time during my 1st marriage when we couldn't afford them. I will never be without horses in my life again because I can't afford to live without them!! My 4 horses are listed below, my personal horse is my paint mare Belladonna. I love her to death even though my back's so bad I've only ridden her a few times the entire time I've owned her. Ironically I found her the day my back was hurt! She and I had an instant bond and I went back for her a couple of months later once I had the $$ to purchase.
As for the rest of me: I'm happily married to the love of my life and life time crush...he supports me in my horselife. We have 3 grown kids, and 3 grandkids. We are raising our 5 year old granddaughter Josie. We also have 4 dogs, a cute boy kittie,& chickens. We lost 3 of our elderly pets (6 if you include the fish) during the end of 2009 and it's been tough. Especially knowing I still have a couple more that are aged and could go at anytime...
I did compete in some open shows as a kid but I learned fast I have no desire to compete at anything LOL!! Just not competitive. So my horses are just my babies. :-) When I'm able I love to ride-trail ride, ride around our place & neighborhood and love to night ride! My sis & I grew up sneaking outside at night to ride by the moonlight and we still do it if we get the chance!
