I grew up on a horse farm. We usually had 20-25 horses... mostly Arabs and a few Quarter Horses. I have been in the military for ten years and haven't been close to horses since. My mother still has 3 or 4 horses but I never get back home to visit. I used to show a lot and just ride for pleasure. I was an active 4-H member. We boarded horses and trained for folks as well. I plan on getting a few horses when I retire. I would love to meet folks in this area with horses so I could get back in the saddle or so they say :) I really miss just jumping on a horse and hitting the trails for hours on end. I have two girls and I wish they could have the experience that I did growing up with horses. There is something to be said about horse folk.
